Bronze Tag Ends

Bronze aiglettes, made of rolled thin sheet these go on the end of laces or cords (much like the plastic ones on the end of modern shoe laces). A number of these were found in medieval graves at the Whithorn excavations, and were probably from cords tying up shrouds wrapped round the corpse.
