Jasper Stone Amulet

An unworked piece of jasper, though the edges show signs of polishing. It was found below the floor of the chapel at Barhobble, and may have been kept as an amulet.   Local tradition recounts that 'Jasper was carried by countrymen to ensure fertility of their stock and crops'.
