Small hinged terminal
Delicate hinged lobate terminal. The thinness of the pin
suggests it is not a belt fitting, but could be a pendant terminal
from some sort of mount. The expanded terminal has a pattern cast
on one face, with a spiral pattern. Traces of red enamel are still
visible in the grooves of the design. It is Insular, probably
Western British in design and dates to the 6th century.
