Hannay's feed grain bag
Modern grain sack from R & A Hannay Ltd, Stranraer, Scotland, millers in the town. The Hannay's were an established milling family who had mills at Kirkcowan and Corsewall as well as Stranraer. The Stranraer mill was built in 1782 and rebuilt in 1895 after a fire the year before.
Hannay's mill was demolished in October 1978.
