Verification of Working Standards No 2, County of Dumfries

Book "Verification of Working Standards No2", used from 1936 to 1971.  This book contains a series of two types of legal certificates, half yearly verification of working standards and quarterly examination of local standards and instruments.  The certificates are completed in ink, signed and dated regularly from 1936 until 1971.   Also included are three more sheets which summarise the Local Standards, Working Standards and Additional Equipment.  This includes their corresponding set numbers, weights and brief descriptions an records of when they were last verified, around the time of the Second World War.
