Union of England and Scotland, 1707 medal

Queen Anne (1665 = 1714) silver medal commemorating the Union of the Parliaments of Scotland and England, 1707.  The obverse depicts Queen Anne looking to the left, the reverse, the Arms of Britain within a shield, with a rose and thistle below and crown held by two infant genii above.   Inscription: obverse - ANNA DG MAG BR: FRA ET HIB REG / IC reverse - SEMPER EADEM / S / B   The Act of Union introduced English measures into Scotland, but this just meant that both English and Scottish measures were used!
