Set of liquid measures, Royal Oak, Brewery Street, Dumfries

Set of liquid measures, Royal Oak, Brewery Street, Dumfries, comprising 6 copper jugs and 1 filter funnel. Verification stamps are present on all the measures. Pint, half pint and 1 gill date from 1879 - 1901. They each bear a Queen Victoria verification stamp for Dumfries County, along with a Glasgow stamp - a tree motif with bird set in an oval. The others date from the first half of the 20th century, c1910 - 1952. Each bear a George V / VI verification stamp, along with numbers for Lanark County, Cumberland and Westmoreland.
