Flemish Classical tapestry fragment

This extravagant piece tells the Story of Emperor Octavian Augustus. The border and foreground of this piece are decorated with a classical style floral garlands, within the floral border centred to top and bottom depicts the reconciliation between Augustus and Mark Antony, with only Antony's sword present. Extensive minor repairs have been carried out on this delicate fragment.
