Leather sword belt with bronze shell decoration

Leather sword belt with bronze accents. The belt has lozenge and wave patterned stitching on the hide. The buckles on the belt are chiselled to appear as shells and the other bronze accent features scroll designs. An accessory such as this would have been used to carry edged weapons comfortably and safely while also allowing easy access to the sword during confrontations
