The Fool that Cthulhu Once Knew

Mykietyn has built an installation arising from a performance staged on the opening night of the exhibition. He based his performance on "The Call of Cthulhu", a story by H. P. Lovecraft, and a particular point in the story when Cthulhu discovers an underwater city before being eaten by a terrifying sea creature.   "The Call of Cthulhu" has a cult following and exists both as a computer game, and as a role playing game in which human beings are significant pawns in the games of ancient, fiendish and supremely powerful gods. It is and example of another 'world' just outside the bounds of reality, in which people immerse themselves.
