Guidi balances strong and industrial materials with delicate compositions in three sculptures spread out round the gallery, which are inspired by the architecture around us.   She examines how the architecture we build shapes our experience of the world, and our sense of ourselves. Throughout history some imposing styles of religious architecture have developed (mosques, cathedrals for example), showing that belief, faith and hope can be affected by our built environment.
