Boating party on the White Loch, Castle Kennedy

This is one of a number of views in Milne's stereoscopic collection showing a boating party on the White Loch at Castle Kennedy.  In the background is the many-turreted and multi-spired pile of Lochinch Castle, built in 1864-7 for the 10th Earl of Stair.  The castle was used as the residence of Lord Summerisle in the cult 1970s film 'The Wicker Man'.
