The Old Man of Hoy, Orkney

The Old Man of Hoy is a sandstone sea stack on Hoy, part of the Orkney archipelago. It was likely formed after 1750 as part of the natural erosion of the cliff through hydraulic action, and may soon collapse. It is popular with climbers, and was first officially climbed in 1966.
