Rozelle House, Maclaurin Galleries & McKechnie Institute - What's on 2011
The Exhibition Programme for Rozelle and the Maclaurin for 2011 is well under way. The building has completely reopened following rewiring works and the new lighting system in teh Maclaurin Galleries is looking good. Interesting things are happening at the McKechnie Institute, which has also benefited from recent building works.

Lighthouses and Citadels
An exhibition of the works created by local schools as part of this project will be shown at the McKechnie Institute from 8th December. This recently completed project in South Ayrshire combined lighthouses, museums, art, drama and oral history skills in an ambitious and successful education initiative. This was done in a partnership between Jenny Renfrew, Cultural Coordinator, South Ayrshire Museums Service and 200 pupils from 6 local schools.
