The building has completely reopened following rewiring works and the new lighting system in teh Maclaurin Galleries is looking good. Lighthouses and Citadels

This recently completed project in South Ayrshire combined lighthouses, museums, art, drama and oral history skills in an ambitious and successful education initiative. This was done in a partnership between Jenny Renfrew, Cultural Coordinator, South Ayrshire Museums Service and 200 pupils from 6 local schools.
