Shield of The Earl of Craven
The Earl of Eglinton commissioned Samuel Pratt of No.47 Bond Street, London, to produce this shield and the others which would hang above the martial tents of the knights taking part in the Eglinton Tournament in 1839.
The Earl of Craven entered the lists as The Knight of the Griffen.
