Belt buckle with belt plate

Belt buckle with belt plate. the pin is missing. The securing plate has been broken into three parts, it would have been secured to a leather belt by a single bronze rivet. It was found in a grave dating to the late 6th or early 7th century, but parallels from York show this basic buckle style continued in use through to the 10th century.
