The Church

The south west of Scotland has seen its fair share of religious upheaval over the years and as a result several people connected with the church have came to the fore. Some who kept the fires lit in the struggle for Independance, others who risked all for their faith during the troubled 17th century and other later reformers who changed the face of worship in the country into what it is today.
