Design for the Lecture Theatre Door, South Kensington Museum

In 1865 Scott was commissioned to design stained glass windows for the Ceramic Gallery of the South Kensington Museum.  In 1871 the commission was reduced to a design for the Lecture Theatre doors for which this is one of Scott's sketches.  His design was never used. Acquired with Assistance from the National Fund for Acquisitions administered with Government Funds by the National Museums of Scotland.
