Copy of a Photograph of W. B. Scott, Ruskin & Rossetti, 1863

William Bell Scott is said to have had a peculiar dislike of Ruskin which was deepened by two meetings with him at Wallington Hall in 1855 and 1863 though this picture was taken in London.   This reproduction of a photograph of William Bell Scott with John Ruskin and Dante Gabriel Rossetti was amongst a collection of photographs, prints, sketches and paintings that came from Penkill Castle and are now stored at the Dick Institute.   The photograph is believed to have been taken in Rossetti's garden at his house in Chelsea.
