Coronation Medal, George VI

Medal issued by Stranraer Town Council to mark the coronation of George VI.   The obverse has the legend HM KING GEORGE VI HM ELIZABETH surrounding the heads of the royal pair.  The reverse has CORONATION MEDAL ROYAL BURGH OF STRANRAER 12TH MAY 1937 around the burgh's crest.
