Maw's Vel-fin Hygienic Inhaler

Maw's Vel-fin Hygienic Inhaler was used to treat chest infections, alleviate bronchitis and similar conditions of the chest by inhaling the steam as it emerges from the funnel.  Various inhalation recipes were available but it was mainly used with menthol or eucalyptus oils and crystals mixed with boiling water.  Inhaler's like this are still commonly used today, especially by performers as it helps to hydrate the vocal chords.
