St Josephs Interior
Founded in the 1850s by a Father Thomas Wallace, an Irishman, to further his mission from St Andrew’s in Glasgow, St Joseph’s was a Gothic-style Catholic church with belfry, nave and two aisles, and a gallery with organ. Side altars were added later.
