The Ford, Dean Castle
Many Kilmarnock residents will remember The Ford near the
entrance to Dean Castle Country Park as a no-go during heavy
rainfall, with cars sometimes getting stuck in the floodwater when
drivers though they might take a chance. Nowadays, The Ford is
unaffected by Kilmarnock Water with its updrage in early 2015.
