Highland Mary's Monument, Failford
Highland Mary's Monument in Failford in a red sandstone column
that was completed in 1921 for the Burns Federation. The monument
stands to mark the reputed last meeting point of poet Robert Burns
and his lover Mary Campbell, known through his poetry as 'Highland
Mary'.
