Blair Castle, Dalry
Blair Castle, in Dalry near Kilwinning, has existed in some form
on its lands since 1165. The castle was remodelled and extended in
1893 and incorporates a 16th century tower house and 17th century
wing, as well as some late Medieval components. The home is reputed
to have been the oldest continually inhabited mansionhouse in
Scotland.
