Back view of Blair Castle, Dalry

Blair Castle, in Dalry near Kilwinning, has existed in some form on its lands since 1165. The castle was remodelled and extended in 1893 and incorporates a 16th century tower house and 17th century wing, as well as some late Medieval components. The home is reputed to have been the oldest continually inhabited mansionhouse in Scotland.
