Back view of Auchans Castle, Dundonald

Auchans Castle, near Dundonald, was built in the 16th century and was held by the Wallaces of Craigie, before being passed to the Cochranes, followed by the Montgomerie family. The castle was in use until the 19th century and is now stands as a ruin.
