Rose Galls

Rose bedeguar gall, also known as robin's pin cushion, is an abnormal growth caused when a gall wasp lays eggs in rose buds or developing leaves. The abnormal growth occurs when the eggs mature into larvae and secrete chemicals, turning affected areas of the plant into hard, woody structures on the rose stem.
