Herb-paris
Herb-paris, or true lover's knot, is recognisable from its four
broad, oval leaves. The plant is known as the herb of equality due
to the symmetry of its leaves, and it also derives its common name
from the Latin par, meaning equal. Historically,
herb-paris was also used by herbalists in marriage rituals and even
against the disorder of witches!
