Birch Bracket
Fomitopsis betulina, more commonly known as birch
bracket, birch polypore, or razor strop, is a fungus that grows
almost exclusively on birch trees. They are widespread across
Europe, Asia, and North America.
It gets its name razor strop from its traditional use as a strop
for finishing the edges on razors.
