Acorns
Acorns, or oak nuts, are the fruit of the oak tree. They usually
contain a single seed from which a new oak tree can grow. Falling
to the ground is an integral part in the lifecycle of an oak. From
the ground, it can grow into a new plant or the acorn can be
consumed by wildlife, such as birds and small mammals, and be
dispersed in another area.
