Sydney Silverman Biography

Sydney Silverman Rebel in Parliament, Biography by Emrys Highes M.P.   Emrys Hughes M.P. the author of this biography, was a close friend and colleague of Sydney Silverman M.P.   Emrys Hughes has been Labour Member of Parliament for South Ayrshire since 1946.  Born in 1894, educated at Abercynon Council School, Mountain Ash Secondary School and the City of Leeds Training College, Emrys Hughes has also written a biographical study of Keir Hardie, founder of the Labour Party, and various biographies of other politicians.
