The exhibition celebrated the joy and magic of creating images
showing works selected for their strong visual impact created
through colour and humour. It was designed to make you think about
the visual world around you and to challenge preconceived notions
of what art is.
New work was commissioned from
Gemma Coyle and
Anna Ellerington to be shown alongside work from some of
the big names from the late 20th century.
The show included work by Bridget Riley, Damien Hirst, Jake and
Dinos Chapman, Roy Lichtenstein and many others, kindly lent by the
National Galleries of Scotland and the Maclaurin Trust.
