A Selection of Civilian Advice Booklets and Notices

In the lead up to and during the second world war, advice booklets were issued to UK households informing them of how to prepare and keep themselves safe.  Amongst the topics they covered were evacuation, lighting restrictions, identity labels, food and rationing, air raids and how to be of most help to help the British forces .
