The Keep, Dean Castle
Sir Robert Boyd began building the Keep at Dean Castle after
acquiring land at Kilmarnock as a reward from Robert the Bruce in
1316.
The Keep was probably completed around 1350 by his son Sir
Thomas Boyd.
