Largs Battle Memorial
This memorial to the Battle of Largs was erected in 1912. The round tower was based on ancient look out towers.
This etching was completed just a couple of years later in 1915. The artist, Robert Bryden notes that shortly after he completed the print, the blocks around the lower opening were ornamentally carved.
