Poems Chiefly in the Scottish Dialect, First Edinburgh Edition, 1787

The second edition of Robert Burns' poems was dedicated to the Noblemen and Gentlemen of the Caledonian Hunt.   The book is bound in red leather with gilt detail and a garland of thistles on the front board, and features an oval portrait of Burns on the frontispiece, after Naysmyth.
