Piano

This piano belonged to a Mrs. Gregory who was a friend of Robert Burns.  It was bought at the time of her marriage and was then the  only piano in Kilmarnock.  Mrs Gregory is known to have played for Burns and it likely that  he  listened to the music for the songs he composed played on this piano.   Part of the James McKie Collection
