Lochlea Farmhouse
Surely the most famous farm in Ayrshire! Lochlea farm was where William Burns moved to and prospered with his family when his son Robert Burns was 18 years old; it was also the site of one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in Ayrshire, when in the 19th century, an ancient Crannog and a host of related artifacts were discovered within it's grounds.
