Leather wallet presented to Mr Thomas Copeland by the people of Leswalt, Wigtownshire as a token of their gratitude for his part in WWII as a member of the Home Guard.  It is inscribed:

"Presented with the good wishes of the people of Leswalt as a token of their gratitude for your devotion to duty in the cause of freedom during the World War, 1939-1945."
