The First World War

Pillow

Description:

Inflatable pillow.

Made out of khaki coloured fabric lined with rubber this inflatable pillow fitted neatly in a small carry bag. It belonged to Keith Burwell during World War One and was later used by his son Arthur during World War Two.
It can only be imagined how this would have been a luxury item in the trenches.
