Two small grave covers.

Description:

Small grey sandstone slab and small pink sandstone slab (back left, back right).

 

These stones were found by a farmer while ploughing the meadow at the mediaeval burial place overlooking Penpont churchyard. These gravemarkers are for children of the land-owning class, signified by the sword.
