This stone cross came from a medieval church that once stood in the graveyard at Kirkton, now part of Millport, Greater Cumbrae. The style is unique to the Cumbraes and the nearby isles of Bute and Arran. It is one of a collection of stone crosses, some of which are now in Millport Cathedral.
