The Sword

Pair of Fencing Foils

Long after swords had been made largely redundant on the battle fields of Europe fencing remained a popular sport especially among the officer classes of the military throughout the continent.  Sometimes these bouts would take place with bladed rapiers or sabres and duelling scars on the face became badges of honour among the military elite.

These practice foils though are made from a blunt square sectioned blade and have a flat button at their blade points.
