Collared Urn, Cairnderry

Description:

This pot, a small and squat Collared Urn, was found upside down resting on a stone in a pit.  Below the stone were a small pot - an accessory vessel - and a stone battle-axe (see SMAH 018 and 020).  The urn is undecorated and the base is missing.

 

The site was excavated between 2002 and 2004.
