partly protruding above the turf. Site XXII West.
Description Small altar fragment. Upper section of a plain rectangular column
with rectangular top section. Inscribed panel on front to God Neptune. Coarse
grained red sandstone.

 

Altar dedicated to Neptune, Birrens, Middlebie.
