Model plough by Joseph Heughan

A model plough of the type in use at the end of the 19th century, made in polished steel. This was made by the poet/ blacksmith Joseph Heughan (1837 - 1902) of Auchencairn, Kirkcudbrightshire.  There is no published collection of his poems, but they are reproduced in local newspapers of the time and other verse anthologies.
