Axe hammer

Description:

Ulzieside axe hammer.  One of the finest axe hammers found in Scotland, it is over 25cm long and is decorated with fluted sides.  Wilson found it supporting a slate against a broken window in the grannary of Ulzieside Farm, in 1884.
