Description:

"Shortrig Farm, Hoddam. The surviving large tower windmill must have preceded the horsemill alongside it. It probably dates from the end of the 18th century.

 

Duncow - a good example of an early tower mill dating from the late 17th century, a massive structure with marked batter.

 

Dumfries Museum, formerly a corn windmill - 1730 approximately.

 

Mouswald Grange - date c.1800 - used for threshing."
