David Scott

This is a portrait of the artist's elder brother David Scott who was also a painter, mainly of historical subjects. He died at the age of 43 having received little recognition for his work. Acquired with Assistance from the National Fund for Acquisitions administered with Government Funds by the National Museums of Scotland.
